Assumption University of Thailand (AU) has once again made its mark on the global stage, as a team of finance students from Martin de Tours School of Management and Economics (MSME Business School) claimed victory in the Indonesia Capital Market Student Studies (ICMSS) 2025 Stock Trading Competition. Competing against top Universities across the region, team Passion Energy showcased sharp financial instincts, real-world trading expertise, and the ability to navigate volatile markets with confidence.
A Passion for Trading, A Strategy for Success
The winning team—Mr. Narawit Sittidech, Ms. Thunyamas Sabaiying, and Mr. Sitthibutr Weerathiopavong—formed a powerhouse alliance with Indonesia’s Asset Architects Team to share Dr. Chainarin Srinuchasart, a faculty member in AU’s Department of Finance and Risk Management.
ICMSS, hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Indonesia, is one of Asia’s most prestigious capital market competitions. Established 24 years ago, the event brings together the brightest young minds to analyze market trends, assess risk, and execute strategic trades under real-world conditions.

The competition was no mere simulation—participants faced the high-pressure dynamics of live market trading, making real-time decisions that tested their analytical and strategic skills. The AU team’s ability to adapt to shifting market conditions and maximize portfolio performance set them apart, earning them the championship title.
