Peking University and Assumption University of Thailand (AU) officially launched the groundbreaking Arts and Technology Development Project with a grand signing ceremony at AU. The initiative, jointly spearheaded by the Institute for Cultural Industries at Peking University and AU, represents a bold new frontier of academic cooperation between China and Thailand.
The signing was further marked by a symbolic exchange of commemorative gifts between Prof. Xiang Yong, Professor of Peking University, and Rev. Bro. Sirichai Fonseka, f.s.g., Ph.D., President of AU, highlighting the warm friendship and shared vision of both institutions.
The establishment of the Arts and Technology Development Project is a new milestone in Sino–Thai higher education relations. It promises to deepen academic collaboration, expand interdisciplinary opportunities, and create innovative models for education and social impact in the digital era. Both universities affirmed their commitment to harnessing their strengths to contribute to regional development and to the broader global academic community.
